I am a former cold warrior, engineer and inventor. In that former life I specialized in electrical engineering and have patents on various electromagnetic thing-o’s. I designed spacecraft antenna parts for satellites now in orbit looking at you. And for the Galileo Jupiter Probe, now melted into the Jovian troposphere, swirling in the 60-km deep clouds and 300-knot winds. I have tales of three-letter agencies, polygraphs, spy scandals—-even a real murder—- and designing spacecraft components for secret missions. I live not far from Pyramid Lake, Nevada, with my family.
